September 4, 2009 The Human Alliance gimmick is to have a human (to scale) accompany the Transformer. It's a decent gimmick but for me, it's no different than any other accessory. Although, there is a cool by-product. Since the human fits inside the Transformer, the Transformers has an interior detail, which I like.
I don't tend to buy a Transformer for a gimmick so the reason I bought this figure is because it looks so damn good. ...more |

September 2, 2009 OK, perhaps this isn't the best analogy. If you don't know who Steve Fonyo is, my friend Flocons recently wrote a blog about him. In short, he lost his leg to cancer, like Terry Fox, and attempted a similar run across Canada. He, however, was able to complete his marathon, yet got little recognition for it. If you want to learn more about Steve Fonyo, you should read my friend's blog.
What does this have to do with the Opera browser? Very little, other than that, I don't think Opera gets enough recognition for its accomplishments. ...more |

August 6, 2009 How can you stop someone from framing your site? First of all, what does that mean? If you don't know what it means, you probably won't care about this blog but I'll give a little explanation, anyway. You know when you do a Google image search and when you click on the images, it takes you to the site but there is a bar at the top of their site with Google's information? Well, that's Google framing the original site. They put the site in what's called a frame in HTML. Here's a little javascript code to break out of frames. Just put this code in the onLoad attribute of the body tag.
