Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - Review

Probably the worst of the three movies, it's more similar to the second movie than the first. Basically, a lot of action and effects, not much substance. This movie, like its predecessor, lacks the charm of the first movie. The increased in action and effects diminish what made the first movie fun to watch, that being the performances of Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley (who I for the longest time thought was Natalie Portman). I would give this movie a worse rating if the cast consisted only of talents such as Orlando Bloom. At a running time of 2 hrs 45 mins, it's a bit long for my taste, especially due to the lack of an interesting story.
